The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled Landon Knack and added Anthony Banda to the active roster and optioned Ricky Vanasco and J.P. Feyereisen.

To make room on the 40-man roster for Banda, the Dodgers transferred Connor Brogdon to the 60-day injured list.

Knack returns for his second stint with the Dodgers and will start this afternoon. He went 1-1 with a 2.81 ERA and 11 strikeouts in three starts for the Dodgers this season.

He made five starts for Triple-A Oklahoma City this year, going 2-1 with a 4.15 ERA and 29 strikeouts against nine walks. He has made 60 appearances (55 starts) in the minor leagues, and he has racked up 290 strikeouts in 253.1 innings while opponents have hit .232 against the Tennessee native.

Banda was acquired on Friday from the Cleveland Guardians for cash considerations. He appeared in 12 games for Triple-A Columbus prior to the trade, posting a 2.12 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 17 innings.

He was last in the Major Leagues last season as a member of the Washington Nationals, pitching in 10 games, allowing five runs in seven innings.

Banda has been in the Major Leagues parts of seven seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks (2017), Tampa Bay Rays (2018-2020), New York Mets (2021), Pittsburgh Pirates (2021-2022), Toronto Blue Jays (2022), New York Yankees (2022) and Nations (2023).

He is a combined 7-6 with a 5.69 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 118.2 innings.

Dodgers option two relievers

Feyereisen tossed a scoreless inning on Saturday against the Reds. He appeared in nine games for the Dodgers this season, allowing six runs in 9 innings, but has thrown 7.2 scoreless innings in the month of May.

He is in his fourth Major League season, having stints with the Milwaukee Brewers (2020-21), Tampa Bay Rays (2021-22) and Dodgers (2024), and he is a combined 8-5 with a 2.65 ERA and 93 strikeouts in 98.2 innings.

Vanasco did not appear in a game in his second stint with the Dodgers. He made his Major League debut on April 15 for the Dodgers, tossing two scoreless innings against the Nationals.

He has made 13 appearances with Triple-A Oklahoma City, allowing seven runs in 13.0 innings with 16 strikeouts. He has been in the minor leagues seven seasons, posting a 10-15 record with a 3.54 ERA with 295 strikeouts in 221 innings.
