San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings only had one catch for seven yards on Thanksgiving night against the Seattle Seahawks, but it was a big one. Jennings is known for his uncanny ability to make things happen on third downs, and that's precisely what happened on that one play.
On a crucial 3rd-and-7 from Seattle's 25-yard line, Jennings received a pass from quarterback Brock Purdy. Initially appearing to be stopped short of the first-down marker, the receiver fought for the needed yards, causing some missed tackles and dragging rookie cornerback Devon Witherspoon along with him.

The drive started late in the first quarter and carried into the second quarter, culminating in a Christian McCaffrey touchdown and propelling the 49ers to a 14-3 lead on their way to a decisive 31-13 victory over the division rivals.
Reflecting on the pivotal play, Jennings took to Instagram to express his thoughts, stating, "Pay them folks that much money to be missing tackles." (h/t Tom Dierberger of NBC Sports Bay Area).
Selected in the seventh round (No. 217 overall) out of Tennessee in 2020, the 6-foot-3, 212-pound Jennings has contributed 14 receptions for 196 yards in 10 game appearances, including two starts, this season.
The 49ers are off until Monday. They will begin preparing for their Week 13 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles upon returning.
